Don Eachells was born in South Africa where, in his teens trained in industry as a commercial artist.
He has lived in the UK since the early 1970’s and gained a Bsc.Hons degree in Sociology & Social Theory (1979), and later studied art at Central St. Martins (1994-98).
Teaching:
1991 – 2007 Adult Education teaching; privately and for the London Borough of Camden. Taught drawing & painting, printmaking and art-theory spanning Nat.Diploma to mainstream Adult Education courses.
2002 – 2007 Appointed as Curriculum Team Leader in subjects ranging from drawing & painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, jewellery and photography.
2007 -11 Practice at The Chocolate Factory Studios London N16. Also at Space Studios E8.
2012 – 2022 Continues with studio practice in Ramsgate/Margate – Kent.
